LeBonheur Radiothon!

The 2008 LeBonheur Radiothon is now complete.
Thanks so much for all who took time to donate or volunteer their time. Thanks to all of you who listened to us share the virtues of this community asset here in Memphis. We are so fortunate to have a children's hospital in our area. We met so many amazing people, among them young Wesley. He was in one day for an outpatient same day procedure and his dad got us this photo.
More pictures to come this week on our website. If you want to find out more about incredible work that LeBonheur Children's Medical Center is embarking on, please go to the website at www.lebonheur.org
Have a great week....I am outta here!!!

Attention Golfers!

Okay, golfers, it's time to unite and have some fun with FM 100.

Do I play golf, my goodness no! I have tried it once or twice, even playing in a scramble where we actually used one of my shots....go figure! But no, it is not a game I have the patience for. I guess I should play. Those who do (like my husband and my co-worker Ron) seem to derive an odd amount of pleasure from the "sport." I find sheer and utter frustration in the game. I have only played twice. It appears those who play even more often....for years even...have that same level of discontent, aggravation, dissatisfaction and puzzlement surrounding the game.

However, I digress......you have an opportunity to play what some call the greatest game ever played and you have a chance to play that game with Ron...is that a big deal or honor????? I don't know now that I think about it! :)
