So, for those of us that didn't get to see the incredible concert, and for those of us that did not, let's just all take a moment to enjoy his picture and think of your favorite Foo Fighters song when while you do........

I was a fan

I must admit, I have always been a Heath Ledger fan.
Even though I have never seen his Oscar nominated part in Brokeback Mountain, I have enjoyed so many of his other films that yesterdays news came as such a shock. He was great in A Knight's Tale, The Brothers Grimm, Monster's Ball and The Patriot. But my favorite Heath Ledger film is one of his early films he did with Julia Stiles, 10 Things I Hate About You. He is just adorable in that one. It is such a tragedy that his life was cut short by an apparent drug overdose...more details should come out today on what may have happened. He was only 28 years old and he had a 2 year old daughter....so sad.

Hello from me!

Happy New Year....sure I know it's already the 16th of January, but I feel like I am just getting back to semi-normal after vacation and some sick time. Since I had not been feeling well, yesterday, I had to undergo a few tests, a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. If you listened to the radio, you heard that Ron had quite a fun time with that. He had a routine colonoscopy last month.... I didn't want to even think about it, much less TALK about it. However, yesterday he seemed oddly obsessed with the fact that I had to have one. Go figure?!?! To each his own I suppose.....why is he my friend, I ask myself that question often, but never seem to come up with any kind of answer. :)

American Idol was back on last night......we see some of the best, and of course, the worst.....and plenty of commercials in between!

Have a great day,

K
